Where is the import report log located

In the Site Import Summary Report, under missing import content I have the message ‘download the import report log for the full list of missing files and other import issues’, but there is no link to it, nor does it inform you of it’s location. Could someone point me to it.

Hi Scott,

Once the Site Import is completed, go to the Design Manager where all your templates are listed. In the list, you should see a “Home” Template. Click the pencil icon on the template to open it.

Once the template is open, go to the Help dropdown and click on the Download Log link

Although my report log is 13,228 pages long… All I wanted at this point was a list of missing pages. Do I need to parse through 13,228 pages for this?

Hi Scott,

While I agree that this is not ideal, you can Ctrl + F for ERROR: Link Extractor: , which will jump to the pages that the system was unable to retrieve or catalog.

Additionally, I’ve found that Notepad ++ does the best job of displaying the contents of these logs in a readable manner.

Yea if you copy/paste into Word it will sort it out better than Notepad.
Much easier on the eyes. Was about to hit print shortly thereafter until I noticed the page size.
