I have three pages that are part of my Navigation hierarchy (landing pages). They appear in the navmenu, but when I click on them I get a 404 error. The status of two of the pages are Live; one is Pending. I’ve done a full publish multiple times and manually published the Pending one, but it still says Pending.
Can I force a Publish somehow? Other than the two methods I mentioned.
Laura,
Can you check your publishing log? Go to Admin > Publish, open the Publishing Log menu, and then click View Details next to your most recent operation. In there, look for the index file of the section that’s causing you trouble (e.g. “/section/index”). To the left of that will be the status, either Published or Failed. If it’s failed, there should be an error on the far right we can look at. If it says it published successfully, or if the file is not listed in your log at all, then we’ll look into other causes for your issue.

I had two failures “could not create directory”, so I browsed onto the production server and saw that there were files that should be directories! So I deleted, manually, those files and then Published, the directories were created and files work now.
Consider this resolved!
Laura,
I’m glad I was able to lead you in the right direction. However, that’s very odd behavior. I will mark this topic as solved, but please post again if you have a similar issue so we can dig a little deeper into what might be happening here.
