I’m trying to find the best solution for creating a navigation widget. I want to have as lightweight markup as possible, so I would like to create a custom widget instead of using Percussion’s Navigation widget. I found a couple resources for creating robust widgets, like this one:

Which is really cool! But I haven’t yet found complete documentation on using the Auto Widget Content Finder as Piotr did in the blog post. The navigation I have in mind would be local to the user’s current position in the site directory, so I would want to use the Content Finder to select navigation nodes related to the current page (parent page, sibling pages, child pages).
Are there any resources for using the Content Finder in this way? Or does anyone have a better idea for how to accomplish what I’m hoping to do? Thanks!
