"Completed with failures" Full-Site Publishes after 4.3.4 update

Hundreds of assets and sites have a ‘failed’ status after running a full site publish. Trying to publish the assets/sites individually doesn’t work either, changing their status to ‘pending.’

examples of the error include:

Error for metadataEndpoint: perc-metadata-services/indexer/entry, Item: 1,533,303,340,102, jobId: 5,081, location: /Assets/Parks/parks/lakebistineau/lakebistineau\_DiscGolfMap.pdf, contentType: null, length: 63 caused by unknown error: Unable to connect to delivery server at: https://192.168.99.85:8443.

and

Error for metadataEndpoint: perc-metadata-services/indexer/entry, Item: 14,727,442,882,165, jobId: 5,081, location: /cultural-development/historic-preservation/main-street/louisiana-main-to-main/index, contentType: text/html;charset=UTF-8, length: 54,367 caused by unknown error: Unable to connect to delivery server at: https://192.168.99.85:8443.

The only thing that’s changed server-wise was upgrading to 4.3.4.

Hello David,

This error suggests CM1 is having problems connecting to the DTS service on your server at 192.168.99.85 when publishing. The first steps are to make sure the DTS service is running on that server, and that the server running CM1 is able to connect to https://192.168.99.85:8443 (or ‘telnet 192.168.99.85 8443’).

Please let us know if you need further assistance with this issue, and we will open a Technical Support ticket. If you do not have access to the CM1 server or the DTS server, we may need to work with someone who has access to these servers as well.

Regards,
Keith

Hay Keith,

I followed Chris’ solution from here and Full Site publishes no longer show any errors.

Thanks!

Hello David,

Great! Thank you for the update.
