Hello Everyone,
CM1 v2.0 has been released and contains many new and exciting features. Below is a brief overview of what’s new in v2.0.
Blogs
Our new blog functionality empowers you to create, manage, and update blog content, which in turn generates traffic and exposure to your site. Each feature enables your organization to leverage relational marketing and manage your online reputation.
Blog Gadget
The blog gadget allows CM1 users to manage, create, and edit their blogs. Users can now navigate through all blogs to a specific blog by site, sort them by either published date or title, and work on a specific blog.
New Blog Wizard
Easily accessible through our blog gadget on the CM1 dashboard our new Blog Wizard allows users to create blogs in three easy clicks. Simply define where on your site you would like your blog to go, create a new template, choose your template and click submit, this includes a blog index page and a blog post page by default.
Blog Widget
The blog widget lets users manage the blog index page – both its structure and appearance on their website. Users can show a list of blog posts on the index page, with a title, summary, date and time, byline as well as include a link to comments under each post and set the number of posts to show on any index page.
Blog Post Widget
The blog post widget lets CM1 users create and manage blog posts. Users can choose to show blog posts on their websites with a title, date and time, and byline. There is also the ability to navigate to view the rest of the posts in the index page.
Tags and Categories
The Tags and Categories feature allows users to organize and aggregate content on their websites. This improves visitor traffic to their sites and conversion rates by making the content easy to find and use. It can positively impact backlinks and increase visitor loyalty.
Tags can be added to a page using the metadata field for the page. The user can pick from the prompted, previously-used tags with type-ahead functionality or create a new tag for the page.
Users can categorize a page using the metadata field for the page. The user can pick from the predefined list of categories and sub categories and assign one or more to a page.
*Categories are themselves predefined and loaded to the server as a configuration file by the administrator.
Tag Widget
The Tag Widget displays a list of tags in use for a given set of pages. These tags can be shown in a list along with a count of the pages tagged with a specific tag. Further, the user can design a results page to show the list of pages with that tag when the tag is clicked.
Category Widget
Our Category Widget can be used to display a list of Categories on a page. These categories are displayed in a hierarchical list along with a count of the pages under a specific category. The count of pages under a subcategory rolls up to its parent in the count displayed. Further, the user can design a results page to show the list of pages under specific category when that category is clicked.
Comments and Ratings
CM1 users can foster website adoption by building a community section for their website and gathering feedback and comments from their users using the ‘comments’ and ‘likes’ capabilities. Website users can read, comment and express their rating on blogs, news articles, images, whitepapers, videos and much more. It is a powerful tool promoting real-time discussion and increasing backlinks.
Comments Form Widget
Creating forms in CM1 can now be done in the blink of an eye. Simply drop the forms widget onto the page where you want the form to appear on the site, customize the preset data entry fields: Title, User Name, Comments, email address, website URL, and submit button. The forms widget appears on the specific page when it is published.

Comments Moderation Gadget
The Comments Moderation Gadget in the Dashboard allows users to view, approve, or reject comments submitted from the chosen website by posted date, title and status.
Likes Widget
Now users can place a “like” icon next to any element on the webpage. A page visitor can click on the icon to “like” and “unlike” the same. A count of “likes” displays the number of visitors who liked the element on the webpage.
RSS & More!
You can publish your pages using RSS Feed format to boost traffic and keep visitors coming back for more! RSS content is easily spread throughout the internet and allows users to control the flow of content. RSS is a powerful tool in fostering a closer relationship between an organization and its consumers.
